Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through muncitoresti.ro, for what purposes and on what legal basis, how long we keep it, who we share it with and what rights you have.

1. Who we are

MUNCITORESTI SRL ("Muncitorești", "we"), tax ID (CUI) 49225030, Trade Register no. J2023023112404 (EUID ROONRC.J2023023112404), is the data controller for the information collected through this website (muncitoresti.ro). Registered office: 9C Maltopol Street, 2nd floor, apt. 3, Sector 1, Bucharest, 011047, Romania; business address: Louis Blanc Offices, 1 Arhitect Louis Blanc Street, 4th floor, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania. We have not designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as we are not required to. For any question about your data: contact@muncitoresti.ro.

2. What data we collect

  • Data you provide directly through the contact form: first name, last name, email address, phone number and your message.
  • Technical data collected automatically: your IP address (used briefly for site security and to protect the form against abuse, without being stored permanently), technical data from the site's operational logs, and data from cookies and similar technologies, described in the Cookie Policy.
  • Your cookie choice: a random consent identifier, the categories you chose, how you chose, the policy version, the date and the site language (see §3 and the Cookie Policy §5). No IP address or device data.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Responding to your contact-form enquiry and evaluating/proposing the relevant Muncitorești services

  • Data: first name, last name, email, phone, message
  • Legal basis: art. 6(1)(b): steps taken at your request before entering into a contract

Site security and protecting the form against abuse

  • Data: IP address (used briefly), technical data from operational logs
  • Legal basis: art. 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in protecting the site

Cookieless traffic statistics (tool hosted in the EU by our IT service provider, as processor)

  • Data: pages visited, referrer, utm_* campaign parameters, browser type, language, screen size, approximate country; the IP address is used to derive the country and is not stored
  • Legal basis: art. 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in understanding site usage; balancing test summarised in the Cookie Policy §4; you may object (§7)

Google Analytics 4 statistics

  • Data: _ga* cookies, browsing data
  • Legal basis: art. 6(1)(a): your consent, the "Analytics" category in the cookie banner

Conversion measurement and attribution of enquiries from advertising campaigns (Google Ads and Meta Pixel)

  • Data: click identifiers, marketing cookies; the site sends no contact-form data to Google or Meta
  • Legal basis: art. 6(1)(a): your consent, the "Marketing" category in the cookie banner

Demonstrating your cookie choice (art. 7(1) GDPR)

  • Data: random consent ID, categories chosen, how you chose, policy version, date, language
  • Legal basis: art. 6(1)(c): our legal obligation to be able to demonstrate consent

We do not make automated decisions with legal effects on you and do not carry out profiling within the meaning of art. 22 GDPR. Providing the form data is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond to your enquiry.

If you become a client, the data necessary to provide the services is processed under the contract and applicable legal obligations, per the data-protection notice you receive when the contract is signed.

4. Who we share data with

Processors that handle data on our behalf:

  • Our IT service provider (Romania) — development, administration and technical maintenance of the site, including the cookieless statistics tool and the record of cookie choices;
  • Our email hosting provider (Romania) — hosting our email service, through which we receive and deliver the messages sent through the contact form;
  • Our hosting provider (Germany) — the servers that run the site and store its data;
  • Our content delivery and network security provider — fast delivery of pages and protection against attacks;
  • Our cloud storage provider (EU, Germany) — storing the images and files published on the site;
  • Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads) and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Meta Pixel): only with your consent, per the Cookie Policy.

Cookieless traffic statistics are produced on our infrastructure in the EU and are not shared with other third parties. The named list of our processors is available on request at the contact address above.

Independent recipients: public authorities, when required by law.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for purposes other than those above.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Google and Meta, as well as our content delivery and cloud storage providers (part of groups headquartered in the US), may also process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (subject to the providers' current certification) and, in addition, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. The site is hosted and its data stored in the EU (Germany), and our email service is hosted in Romania. You may request a copy of the applicable safeguards at the contact address above.

6. How long we keep data

  • Contact-form enquiries and related correspondence: 24 months, then deleted, unless you become a client (in which case the applicable contractual and tax retention periods apply).
  • IP address used for abuse protection: briefly, only as long as needed for abuse protection, without being stored permanently.
  • Technical operational logs: at most 30 days; they contain no contact-form message content.
  • Cookie-choice records: 3 years, then deleted automatically.
  • Cookies: per the durations in the Cookie Policy.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy;
  • rectify inaccurate data;
  • erasure ("the right to be forgotten"), under the conditions of art. 17;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • data portability for the data you provided;
  • withdraw consent at any time, for processing based on consent (e.g. via "Cookie settings" in the page footer), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before;
  • lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28-30, Sector 1, Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro, or bring a claim before the competent courts.

To exercise your rights, write to us at contact@muncitoresti.ro. We respond within one month of receiving your request; this can be extended by two months for complex cases, with notice to you.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), protection of the form against abuse and restricted access to the data we receive. We do not publish details of these measures, so as not to weaken them. However, no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version and update date are shown at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
